Gary's tasting notes
The Chapelle vineyard holding are farmed on a semi-organic basis, requiring that all vineyards be tended as organically as possible except in moments of dire threat to the grapes. The wines are fermented and aged using minimal new oak (10-20%), even for the top premier crus. This wine is from 40+ year old vines situated below 1er Cru Pucelles
One of the most beautiful and seductive noses I've come across. On the nose there's a heavy hint of citrus, lime, and mint... downright gorgeous. Tremendous minerality on the palate is balanced out with sexy mango, tropical flavoring that finishes off with a super focus and great balance. This really makes you want another glass when your done with it. Pair this with skate.
