Gary's tasting notes

Big, jammy fruit flavors with little hints of vanilla oak. Sweet depth comes through on the nose. The palate has outrageously silky mouthfeel. Little hints of beef jerky covered in grape Jolly Rancher come through... like a candy reduction sauce. But it's not entirely too candied or New World... there's tea leaf and subtle tobacco flavors on the finish, but these are unfortunately masked right now by the intense, sweet candied fruit. The silkiness of this wine is difficult to overlook, and the creaminess and long finish will be cheered by many. Slightly over the top for my palate, however, perfectly executed in the style that this wine is made in. Watch it last for 10-20 more years and shed some of its riper qualities.
