Daily Grape

All in all, I'm really impressed with these Pali Wines. They're not only impressive, but are really fairly priced. A little leather and a hint of raspberry peek through on the nose, but like its sister bottling, the 2009 Pali Riviera, it's pretty tight. On the palate, this is remarkably Burgundian in its approach. I looked down and realized it was from Willamette, unlike the other Pali wines, and that makes sense because it's showing more of that Old World character that Oregon can bring to the table. This wines most redeeming attribute of this wine is its silky tannins and the pure cherry juice on the backend. Very impressive for the price point.
