This is my frst time on board here at Dailygrape.com and I thoroughly appreciate the approach taken here to the sport of enjoying wine! It reminds me of 1998 when "WineX" (a magazine no-longer (I believe)) would present very real, raw and practical description and analysis of wine(s). I am sure I will be runing in via phone or slate on a regular basis!
Cheers!
John
PS: I am a big fan of Riojas and Malbecs

Jon T: it seems the video has started working! Don't know if it's because I'm in Mexico. It wasn't working when I was in NZ. Will have to test again when I go back to NZ.

QOTD: VALUE!!!
As expats living in Germany we are able to find outstanding riojas at ridiculously low prices. For you grape pounders out there that want even more oak and earthiness, try a gran reserva which by law must be aged in the barrel for a minimum of 24 months instead of the 12 required for a reserva. Viva el mundo viejo.
