You are completely remiss if you don't go to the Languedoc and try Rose' from there. It puts Provence to shame, in my humble opinion. In fact, a little town called Neffies is really quite lovely. -

I had a really interesting Rose when I was up in the Niagara region (Canada side) visiting a bunch of wineries up there. It was the Riverview Cellars 2009 Tre Sorelle (Rose).
45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc, 25% Merlot

Interesting stuff and pretty inexpensive. If you can find it, I'd recommend trying it.

Most of the Wines we Liked,, Rose! That seemed to be the Wine of Choice for this trip.

I have started drinking more rose's as we have better choices in the wine stores. They are perfect for hot Atlanta summers and pair well with a lot of foods. I will need to try to find one of these.
