It's funny, my goal this summer is to drink more white wines, especially wines I'm not familiar with. Actually this weekend I just had Pinot Gris that I loved from the Alsace that I loved and can't wait to go back to Costco to get more, and a Grüner Veltliner that I was left me unimpressed. I need to try another bottle of Grüner Veltliner since that was my first try.

Okay, nice show and really great sounding white wines. Having said that, white is NOT greater than red - at least for my palate.
QOTD: Last weekend we drank a Pierre Peters NV Champagne and a 2008 Domaine Pinson Grand Cru Chablis. Neither one sucked. ;-)

Thanks a lot, doesn't help the poor folks who live in the 12 remaining states where shipping is illegal. My state doesn't allow it until July and even then I can only go directly from the winery. -
