Since tv.winelibrary seem to be down I post this here instead.

I actually have started my vacation, and in Sweden we often have 4 weeks of that, but somehow I must work next week anyway. I don’t mind and just to celebrate that June have come and summer might be here any moment I dig deep in my wine stash and open up Chateau Hosanna 2003.

It’s a wine from Pomerol 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc.
Color is of a really dark dense bluered.
On the nose blueberry, blackberry, black currant plum, mushroom, licorice and subtle spices.
This is a full bodied wine on the palate, a nice mouth feel with loads of ripe fruit and velvety tannins. First off you find blue fruit mixed with raisins and toasted oak, then the mid palate is filled with velvety tannins with a hint of white and black pepper and more darks fruit. The back end is like a warm summers day at the beach, dry sand, dry grass and then some blackberry jam mixed in and all that topped with really dry dark chocolate powder. Nice balance finish, will probably hold for 5-7 years more without problem. Lovely wine. I bought this last fall for 130 dollars, but it looks like it that you can get in other countries for between 76!! and 175.
